Yau Laboratory Alliance for Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence

The Yau Laboratory Alliance for Mathematics and Artificial Intelligence is initiated by Academician Shing-Tung Yau and jointly established by leading institutions including Qiuzhen College of Tsinghua University, Yau Mathematical Sciences Center of Tsinghua University, Beijing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications, Morningside Center of Mathematics(Chinese Academy of Sciences), Shanghai Institute of Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences, Shing-Tung Yau Center of Southeast University, Hetao Institute of Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences (Shenzhen), and Zhizhen School of Interdisciplinary Mathematical Sciences(CUHK). Building on strong capabilities in fundamental research and interdisciplinary collaboration, the Alliance brings together a team of more than 1,000 scientists. It is dedicated to advancing mathematics-driven AI, leveraging AI to enhance mathematics and interdisciplinary research, with a focus on the development of mathematics-specific foundation models,. The Alliance aims to foster deep integration between mathematics and artificial intelligence and contribute to the national strategy of achieving high-level scientific and technological self-reliance.
